As I told you in my last post, I cannot find my camera. However, Hanne and I worked together and she was able to email me a bunch of pictures. Parker also emailed me a few pictures.
Yesterday, as I told you, I went blueberry picking. Here's what I meant when I said that the Norwegian blueberries stain your hands.
I also talked about how we went fishing yesterday. This photo is of some cod in the fishing net.
Parker pulled in most of the net, while I watched.
Parker also went fishing later when I wasn't there.
Parker even tried filleting a fish! Christian also got in the picture with him.
Today, I was experimenting and wove some flowers together to make this pretty decorative object.
Later in the day, we went to a nearby city named Tvedestrand. Look at how narrow the buildings are!
Tvedestrand is a very nice town. There are small shops and houses and there are flowers everywhere. There was also a lot of music in the streets. It is also a very small town, so everything was smooshed together. There was a great example of this "smooshing" in a bookstore that we visited. There were books on bookshelves, books on top of bookshelves, books stacked on the floor, books stacked on tables, and books stacked on chairs. There were books everywhere! Parker and I tried on some glasses there.
I don't think that the glasses helped me see much better...
We also went searching for geocaches in the woods, it was really fun. If you don't know what geocaches are, you can find out here (watch the video).
There were a lot of wild blueberries that we found along the way, I helped pick a few of them with a blueberry picker. There were also many wild strawberries that we picked by hand.
Overall, it was a really fun day. I'm glad that I was able to get plenty of pictures to show you. There was really good cake today, which made a nice ending. A day is always good when there's cake.
Never forget to enjoy your desserts.
