We left the cabin yesterday.
We saw more German bunkers from WWII when we went to the southernmost point of Norway. These are pictures of Hanne exploring them.
We also climbed up to the lighthouse. I guess it was the southernmost lighthouse of Norway. The stairs were really steep!
Then we drove a bit more (we drove all day) and stopped for lunch at a nice place.
Then we walked a short ways to see some carvings in the rock. They were were really worn down, so they were painted in to help people see better. Can you see the ships?
Then we drove some more...
We stayed in a nice apartment over night. In the morning, we hiked up Preikestolen, which is approximated to be a four hour hike, but it only took us three and a half, with a long stop at the top. Dear Parents: I know you wouldn't want me to sit on the edge of a cliff, but I promise that I was careful.
Here are some pictures!
It's a looong way down.
Some nice mountain flowers:
We also rode on some ferries on our way to Bergen. I'd never ridden on a ferry before, and it was really fun. Once we drove the car on to the ferry, we could just get out, walk up some stairs, and buy ice cream. Then we could sit at a table and watch the fjords slide by. This picture is from when we were driving onto a ferry.
It was a long day, but I think that it was fun. Also a bit thrilling when I was at the edge of a cliff.
